Procedures If your current physician has a specific procedure that would be appropriate for your condition, please have them fax an order for the procedure. Should your physician need a procedure referral form (order form), you may click here to print one. Please have your physician include office notes, diagnostic reports, and demographic information when sending your order. After receipt of all required information, our office will promptly contact you directly to schedule your procedure. Procedure Instructions (click here to print) 1. Do not eat or drink anything after midnight prior to the procedure. 2. Take your regularly scheduled medications with the following exceptions: (a) NO ASPIRIN, ADVIL, OR ANY TYPE OF ANTI-INFLAMMATORY for five (5) days prior to the procedure. (b) STOP Coumadin three (3) days prior to the procedure. (c) STOP Plavix five (5) days prior to the procedure. (d) If you have questions regarding the safety of these medications during a procedure please don't hesitate to contact your physician. 3. You will need to make arrangements for a responsible adult to drive you have after your procedure. The medication you receive during the procedure may cause you drowsiness making it unsafe for you to operate vehicles and heavy machinery. 4. You can expect most outpatient procedures to last 2-3 hours beginning from the time you check in for your procedure.
